Kalashnikov is a Central Asian nation, neighboring the nearby country of Moustaschistan. Formerly a member of the Soviet Union, it broke away and formed its own independent nation when the Soviet Union died.

Kalashnikov name is derived from Mikhail Kalashnikov, a Russian general and engineer who designed the the Kalashnikov Rifles, a series of automatic rifles that include the Soviet/Russian AK-47.
